KU Leuven team participated in KU Leuven’s Information Day for prospective students, where we presented our research/educational activities to future students and their families. Through discussions and interactive demonstrations, we helped visitors explore study/research opportunities and gain insight into university life and scientific research at KU Leuven.

The KU Leuven team participated in Dag van de Wetenschap (Science Day) 2025 at KU Leuven, a public outreach event aimed at bringing science and research closer to society.

On 12 November 2025, we organised the symposium 200 Years of Benzene at the Carlos Santamaría Centre, UPV/EHU, in Donostia–San Sebastián.

The KU Leuven Summer of Science is a summer camp for curious high school students. They get to explore some of the most fascinating topics in modern science – from the origins of the universe to the building blocks of life, quantum theory, and mathematical patterns.

Brecht Koek participated in the European Commission’s science fair, organised by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.

We’ve published a paper in Nature Chemistry, that offers a revolutionary approach to synthesise stacks of 2D materials, specifically twisted 2D polymer bilayers.
