CIQUS-CICECO synergies meeting. The “Exploring Synergies” meeting brought together researchers from CiQUS (University of Santiago de Compostela) and CICECO–Aveiro Institute of Materials on 24 January 2025.
Coordinated by Manuel Souto and Manuel Melle-Franco, the event explored complementary expertise in supramolecular chemistry, advanced materials, biomaterials and nanotechnology.
Presentations and discussions addressed synthetic chemistry in biological environments, COFs, and nanomedicine, alongside opportunities for joint research funding and researcher mobility.
The meeting provided a basis for developing collaborative projects and strengthening scientific exchange and training between the two centres.
